MCCD Open To Business Program
The Open to Business program in Scott County is a collaboration between the Scott County Community Development Agency (CDA) and the Metropolitan Consortium of Community Developers (MCCD). John Endris, the Scott County Open to Business Advisor, is available to provide one-on-one business counseling assistance customized to meet the needs of current business owners and prospective entrepreneurs. Financing is also available to qualified applicants. The Open to Business program is being offered free of charge to Scott County businesses or residents. Technology Village
Technology Village, located in Prior Lake City Hall, is a business accelerator program open to all Scott County residents that provides program participants with an attractive lease, furnished offices, development assistance, guidance from experienced business professionals, shared conference rooms and office equipment, networking opportunities with other entrepreneurs and community organizations, education programs, and access to local lenders interested in working with start-up businesses.

Technology Village also offers a virtual program designed to support emerging technology and professional service businesses which are not located in the Technology Village office space.

South Metro SCORE
South Metro SCORE is part of the national nonprofit SCORE Association dedicated to entrepreneurial education and the formation, growth and success of the nation's small businesses. The volunteer counselors are working or retired business owners, executives and corporate leaders. They provide free and confidential business counseling tailored to meet the needs of small businesses in the metro area south of the Minnesota River, and communities further south such as Jordan, New Prague, and Northfield.
